Helen Clark
Founder
Helen is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the founder of OPTImind Labs. With expertise in clinical practice, research, and performance coaching, she empowers clients to unlock their potential through evidence-based strategies that optimize mental and physical performance.
Her mission is rooted in a passion for the science of human capacity—understanding how physiology, alongside improvements in sleep, nutrition, exercise, and stress resilience, forms the foundation for peak performance. Helen has worked across diverse settings, including personal training, physical therapy, and speaking engagements at corporations, universities, and schools. Her goal is to simplify the science of health and human performance, make it accessible and actionable, and inspire others to build confidence as they reach new heights in performance and potential.
An endurance athlete and triathlete, Helen brings the same drive and discipline to her own life. At OPTImind Labs, she leads with the belief that better habits unlock better health—and a better life. Through her programs, she is redefining what it means to perform at your peak—no matter where you are on your journey.

Terry Johnson
Director of Strategy and Operations
Terry is a business generalist who helps companies and organizations thrive and grow. His background ranges from large high technology companies to entrepreneurs in all industries. Terry has expertise in business operations, product design, engineering, program design and management, finance, and strategy. Terry manages the mentor network and works with startup companies with the Maine Center for Entrepreneurs.
Terry’s personal mission is to be of service to individuals, companies, and other organizations in their learning and growth and he strives to help them create the results they most want to create. He has discovered that the OPTImind Labs approach works hand-in-hand with his approach to helping individuals and businesses enhance and optimize their performance. His long term vision is to create a learning center with focus on learning, creating and using the latest science to continue to improve our offerings.

Brian Beard
Visual Specialist
Brian brings over 30 years of experience in commercial and collegiate photography to OPTImind Labs, where he specializes in transforming complex ideas into visually compelling and easy-to-understand content. With a keen eye for detail and a talent for storytelling, Brian ensures that every program is not only engaging but also accessible to a diverse audience.
Passionate about showcasing the stories of artisans and small businesses, Brian views OPTImind Labs as a powerful resource for individuals and organizations alike. His work bridges the gap between evidence-based science and practical application, creating content that resonates with everyone—from corporations to entrepreneurs to high-achieving individuals striving for more.

Amy Pelletier
Program Consultant
Amy W. Pelletier, PT, RYT, is a seasoned Physical Therapist and Registered Yoga Teacher with over 25 years of experience, specializing in Neurological Rehabilitation and Vestibular Rehabilitation. A 1997 graduate of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, Amy has built her career focusing on both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings. She earned her Vestibular Rehabilitation certification from Emory University in 2006, developing expertise in conditions like BPPV, vestibular hypofunction, and post-concussive disorders. Amy has also worked extensively with individuals affected by brain injuries, strokes, Parkinson’s disease, and various orthopedic conditions.
In 2010, Amy completed a 200-hour yoga teaching certification through YogaFit, becoming a Registered Yoga Teacher. Her career has recently expanded into pelvic floor dysfunction, with specialized training through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehab Institute and workshops with leading experts like Susan Clinton, PT, and Michelle Lyons, PT. She attended Pelvicon 2024 and completed a Perimenopause/Menopause course for pelvic health, igniting a passion for women’s health. Through Optimind Labs I hope to help collaborate and develop course content that will help educate and empower women to improve their health as they navigate through the perimenopause and menopause transition.
